Hello, Fellow Democrats,
Since I have been the 1st Co-Chair of our Lassen CO Democratic Central Committee, I’ve shared through email, text messages, and phone calls. One of the roles of our Lassen CO DCC is to encourage everyone to register to vote, because every vote matters. We also work to educate voters so they are not swayed by the lies and disinformation.
We are currently living in troubled times. Trump is creating all types of havoc in his power grabbing schemes, and his cabinet members are doing his bidding with no regard to our Democracy or our constitution:
“Under my leadership, we will restore fair, equal, and impartial justice under the constitutional rule of law.” – Donald Trump
This quote was a promise from Trump’s inauguration speech.
So far, Trump hasn’t performed any of his campaign promises:

Trump is being criticized for using of the National Guard troops, to crack down on crimes in US Cites where crime is minimal.
Election misinformation and Trump’s lies, have created confusion, endangering our Democracy and our Constitution. Since the 2020 General Election, President Trump would not admit defeat, claiming that the election was stolen from him. Because of this, he incited an Insurrection at the nation’s capital on January 6, 2021.
He has cost American tax payers millions of dollars claiming that the election results were fraudulent. All of his efforts have been denied; yet, to this very day, Trump still insists the 2020 General Election was stolen from him.
During Trump’s second term in office as president, he has spread multiple lies in his “Big Ugly Bill,” This bill has robbed people of their Medicaid, and SNAP. Utility bills have skyrocketed as well as housing costs, making it difficult for people to buy homes. He has made it financially impossible for people to survive, even though a lot of people have two or three jobs.
Trump has continuously raised tariff costs. Tariffs are taxes imposed by the government on imported or, less commonly, exported goods. The cost of tariffs are tax’s that are passed down consumers.
Trump brought Elon Musk, DOGE into his inner circle, because Musk donated $270 million into Trumps presidential campaign. Elon Musk has illegally fired thousands of Federal works, while giving tax breaks to the top 1% of the riches people in the America.
Trump has contributed millions of dollars to hire Ice agents. They are abusive, masked, and do not have any visible identification; they round up people of color. Currently everyone is at risk. People are abusively thrown to the ground, handcuffed, put into unmarked vehicles, and they are taken to unknown destination. They are not read their rights. Their families/ friends have no idea where their loved ones have been taken. Then they are deported without “Due Process.” This disregard of human rights has also affected US citizens, for example:
Look at the two murders that occurred in Minnesota, Renee Good and Alen Pretti.
This is one of many situations where we can call Senator Alex Padilla or Senator Chuck Shumer, our political representatives to let them know that we are opposed to any further funding of Ice Agents. And no one wants Ice agents in their communities,
Trump stated that the Biden Administration dumped 22 million criminals into the US, there were only 11 million people allowed to cross the border, some seeking asylum and only a small percentage people crossing the border are actual criminals. Trump sent Ice gents to LA, Washington DC, Chicago, Portland, Memphis, Charlott, New Orleans, and Minneapolis. Minneapolis is where Renee Good was murdered by Ice Agent Johathan Ross. Homeland Kristy Noem lied on the news stating that Renee Good was a homeland terrorist that used her automobile as a weapon, even though there are videos that caught the whole scene on tape.
As part of Trumps campaign promises, grocery prices were to be lowered, that he would end the war between Russia and the Ukraine. He financed Isreal’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to eliminate Palestinians from the Gaza Strip so he could build a new Mar a Lago Club, with a golf course.
Trump was gifted a $400 million Boeing 747-8 luxury jet (a flying palace) from the government of Qatar, to use as Air Force One. Trump plans to eventually transfer this jet to his presential library foundation. The jet will cost tax payers up to $1 Billion to retrofit the aircraft to meet US presidential security standards. The cost of retrofitting the jet is much more than its actual value.
Trump has never told the truth about anything, he is reckless, and he was convicted of 34 Felony Counts.
Trump is once again trying to get the “Save Act” approved so that he can make free and fair elections impossible. He has pardoned 1,600 individuals as of July 23, 2025. This is why we must have peaceful protest rallies. Please don’t interfere with any Ice agent arrests because you can be arrested as well. It is our First Amendment rights to film Ice activities; however, if an Ice agent tells you to stand down, do what he says. An Ice agent is not allowed to take your cell phone or camara without a warrant. Make copies of your filming, but do not alter it. The film can be used as evidence in a court of law.
Write letters of protest, call politicians and share your feelings about the corruption that is going on in this Administration. We must fight to keep America free. That is why it so important to vote. Our goal is to win back the House so we can stop Trump.
All of this and so much more, is to avoid releasing the complete Epstein Files. Trump, Pam Bondi, and Kash Patel have withheld the Epstein Files to protect the pedophile’s, including Trump. This does not allow the victims of the heinous sex trafficking to get closure.

Make your voice heard
Being aware of what has been going on, since Trump came into office, for both his first and his second term. Trump is a criminal with 34 Felonies convictions. This term has been about his power grab, gaining wealth by stealing tax payer money, and revenge to anyone that disagrees with him. The easiest and most effective way for U.S. constituents to make a political impact is to be aware of Trump’s continual criminal actions.
With the chaos that the Trump Administration has created, there are an unlimited number of topics in which you can call/write to our politicians to voice our concerns. The most important thing for us to do is to Stand Tall, Stay Strong, and to Pay Attention to what is going on in America each and every day.
